FYI, the core of our galaxy is right on the horizon in Sagittarius in the graphic on MSNBC's page (and below). Interestingly the distance of each of the seven objects in the graphic is at least an order of magnitude different than all the others (in order: house, clouds, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Sagittarius, Milky Way core).
